Shore to Shore Cartographic Experience Workshop

The Shore to Shore Cartographic Experience Workshop brought together participants from the local community of the Tigre Delta and the surrounding metropolitan areas. A collective mapping of the conflicts, problems and socio-ecological networks around the shores, coasts and banks of the rivers that make up the delta wetland and the Río de la Plata was carried out. By means of sensory-perceptual and participatory dynamics, different maps were drawn up. At the end, the groups shared their productions and a space for collective reflection was opened up.
This photobook documents the Shore to Shore Cartographic Experience, guided by the Wetland Political Ecology Workshop, made up of: Gisel Cáceres, Erica Schejtman, Ana Mossini, Ana Pérez and Sofía Astelarra. Held at the Casa Puente Cultural Centre, Delta del Paraná, Tigre, Argentina in March 2025. Framed in the project “Reimagining Wetlands”.
