The Ronda Workshop proposed a collective drawing experience centered on the concept of Wetland Identity. Around large paper circles, participants painted with black ink what they felt represented life on the islands. They then rotated around the circles to intervene in others’ drawings, blurring the boundaries between the individual and the collective, and incorporated brief phrases using colored pastels to visually and verbally reinterpret the jointly created artwork.
The day ended with a group reading of the written phrases and a collective reflection, offering a sensitive moment of closure on the shared experience.
This photo book documents the Ronda Workshop, led by multimedia artist and designer Laura Andrea del Arbol. The workshop took place in the Tigre Delta (Argentina – March 2025) as part of the “Reimagining Wetlands” project.
